Winchester girls - (Updated ¾) Good Varsity Club member reports that Coach Ed Geesaman will not be returning for Winchester next season. Coach went 44-47 during three seasons there. Prospective coaches are looking at a classic good news/bad news scenario with the Golden falcons. On the positive side, zero points graduate and 34 ppg are set to return for the Winchester roster. Bad news is that same roster managed just a 3-18 mark last year and gave up nearly 50 points a game at the other end. Good Varsity Club member reports two sr-2-b players of consequence in 5-8 guard Mariah Roberts and 5-10 post Rebecca Neville. The former was the only vet to avg double figures in scoring (11) and the latter was the only real presence inside, tallying a respectable 6 ppg and 11 rpg. Beyond that, good Varsity Club member reports new coach is looking at a roster of 2-3 ppg scorers. Good kids, good attitudes, not so good shooters
