Franklin County girls – Departing Coach Joe Adams
BROOKVILLE, Ind. – (Updated 4/30) Good Varsity Club member reports Coach Adams has resigned after three seasons with the Wildcats. Some potential red flags here as report alleges coach is resigning due to a group of players saying they wouldn’t be back if he continued as coach. Just two seniors depart, from an 8-14 squad and neither was a huge contributor. Soph-2-b Nicole Mears and jr-2-b Macy Crain both showed ability to hit double digits scoring on several occasions, and jr-2-b Josie Rolfes is a genuine three point shooter. Also mentioned are srs-2-b Jenna Bruns and Alex Gillman as potential starters, as each had a few break-out games last season. JV describes as average. Another Varsity Clubber indicates that the Wildcats can be better next year, but the dynamics at play may outweigh any of the actual basketball.
