Frankfort boys - Departing Coach Nathan VanDuyne
Frankfort, Ind. -- (Updated 5/24) Coach VanDuyne has resigned at Frankfort reportedly heading south to Georgia. Coach led the Hotdogs for five years, most recently finishing 10-13. Varsity Club member familiar with the program reports that while two double digit scorers graduate, there is a solid foundation in the jr-2-b class in the pipeline. Three regulars return from that class including 6-5 Jayce Strode, 15ppg and 6rpg. Not a ton of height aside from him - two 6-3’s. Competitive JV squad should also help to round out end of varsity roster. Jr high reportedly not so hot. 8th and 7th only won 6 games each. One possible pitfall for incoming coach. . Varsity Clubber reports a group of five srs-2-b that could potentially not play the roles that they and their parents feel they should next season.. Coach VanDuyne’s HS PE likely in play. Varsity Clubber also reports pretty much any teaching area you can think of.. HS English, MS English, MS Math, HS and MS ELL, MS Science, Sped, HS Spanish, HS Tech, HS Math, HS SS, Eled and multiple levels of Sped.
