Floyd Central boys - Departing Coach Todd Sturgeon
FLOYDS KNOBS, Ind. -- (Updated 4/12) Good Varsity Club member reports Todd Sturgeon is resigning at FC. Reportedly he will remain on at FC as a teacher. FC has been great past few years, last year finishing 20-5 Sectional Champions. Report goes on to state great facilities and best public school in the area. Don’t know if talent will continue at rate it has been but Floyd has positioned themselves in the upper echelon of Hoosier Hills alongside Jeff and NA. Expectations were unrealistic for years at FC, but recently results have matched. Expect those expectations to only rise after recent success. Early names getting mention include Steve Kerber-Christian Academy of Indiana and Ryan Miller-Providence (former asst under Sturgeon) Good Varsity Club member reports Miller likely not interested. Teaching positions unknown at this time.
