Eastern Hancock Boys - Departing Coach Aaron Spaulding
Charlottesville, Ind. -- (Updated 4/3) Word now that Coach Spaulding has announced his retirement after a terrific career and 300 wins, all at Eastern Hancock. Last year’s Royals went 19-7 before dropping Sectional games to Scecina. Varsity Clubber emails that five seniors graduate, and with them goes the heart of last year’s effort. There are letter-winning holdovers that should help keep EH competitive, but competing for a Sectional title may be a bit out of reach for incoming coach. Prospective name already getting much attention is JV Coach/Social Studies teacher Brett Bechtel.
