Manchester boys –Coach Eric Thompson departs to take over at Peru. Thompson was 57-56 during his five years leading the Squires. Last year they went 13-10. Good Varsity Club member reports Chad Cripe, Scott Bumgardner and Mark Underwood as heavy front runners for the head boys job at Manchester. The Squires graduate four seniors, but 18-5 JV is well above average and should supply some very serviceable varsity players. Other feeder teams are reportedly all competitive.
