Concord girls -- Now official that Coach Dan Ross will not be returning after 4 years(26-64) with the Minutemen. Last year Concord girls struggled to a 5-18 record. Varsity Clubber reports five seniors leave of varying contribution levels. However, the sum total of their exit sees 15 PPG depart from a team that managed just 30 points an outing. Some decent frosh and sophs did log considerable varsity time last outing which might help out down the road. JV reportedly…not good. No picnic at present in terms of Northern Lakes Conference, which boasts some strong girls’ programs. Good Varsity Club member indicates apps deadline is set for 3/21, and reportedly some interviews have already been scheduled for after that date. Teaching openings expected but not yet known.
