North Judson girls – Departing Coach Chris Newbaurer
NORTH JUDSON, Ind. – (Updated 3/12) Good Varsity Club member reports Chris Newbauer resigned this week after six seasons for personal reasons, but he definitely was not chased out. Obviously incoming coach won’t have Lillian Frasure (24 ppg, 10 rpg) anymore, but her 5-8 jr-2-b sister Sophia isn’t bad at all. She and Olivia Burkett probably comprise the backcourt of the future. Not a ton of height coming back, but enough to guard the post at 5-9 and 5-10. Getting to last season’s lofty heights of 20+ wins probably not in the picture, but a winning season for sure achievable. No teaching areas available yet.
