PERU, Ind. - (Updated 3/26) Last season the Tigers stumbled to a 5-18 record including a brutal 10-game losing streak. Next year’s challenges might well mirror those of this past campaign. Last season scoring points was a true challenge as just one player topped double figures, and Varsity Clubber emails she graduates. A trio of srs-2-b should be back, and each went for about 7-8 a game. PG expected back as well, but the turnover troubles that plagued the entire team are also on paper to return. JV record mirrored those of varsity last go round, so not much help expected. Looking way down the line, last year’s 8th grade is reportedly pretty decent. Several teaching openings expected, but as of now Varsity Club member indicates only Sped and Music at this early date. Report continues Peru to likely look outside.
