Blue River Valley girls - Departing Coach Terry Bales
NEW CASTLE, Ind. -- (Updated 3/21) It’s been a great six year span for the Vikings as Coach Bales has led them to 112-42 during that time. Last year’s squad went 16-9 and broke a four-year Sectional title streak. Next year’s roster will look substantially different according to Varsity Clubber. Five seniors including star Maci Chamberlin and her 22ppg depart. Three underclassmen who hit the varsity court pretty consistently are expected back led by jr-2-b Charlee Gibson and sr-2-b Maciah Driskill (All-Conference.) Finding the pieces to go with them will likely be more challenging than the past few years. A .500 JV should help provide depth. County champion group in middle school. nMultiple teaching positions available. $7000 stipend.
