Blackford boys – Departing Coach Scott Clamme
(Updated 3/16) – Rough times at Blackford.. Coach Scott Clamme will not be returning after two years with the Bruins that only produced one win. The talent-challenged program has gone 0-23, 0-24, and 1-22 the last three seasons. Classic good news, bad news story for new coach. Only two seniors depart and with them a grand total of 2ppg go with them. So the plus side is that 36 points should be back. Downside of that is that those same players lost all but one game last year by an average of 30. Not a typo. Blackford currently has a high school math and, possibly, a junior high match position available. There could be others over the course of the next few weeks.
