Blackford girls - Departing Coach Mitch Waters
HARTFORD CITY, Ind. -- (Updated 4/26) Now official that Coach Waters will not be returning after five years with the Bruins. Last year Blackford enjoyed a very successful season (20-4) before being knocked off once again by Sectional nemesis, Tipton. Last year’s roster sported 3 seniors that will genuinely be missed, but Varsity Club report points to an intriguing group of 8 srs-2-b. That group composed a big chunk of scoring and ball handling. However, the holdovers should keep the Bruins competitive. JV reported as very good. Internal interest expected: Erick Noland-Blackford JV & director of AAU program. HS/MS Science and Eled.
