Barr-Reeve girls - Departing Coach Mark Holt
MONTGOMERY, Ind. -- (Updated 4/16) Coach Holt will not be back after one season (13-5) with the Vikings. No less than eight seniors leave last year’s winning roster, five considered key contributors by Varsity Club member. Report continues that grad loses take out top three scorers and virtually all interior play. Tallest player in the program right now is about 5-7 on a good day with thick socks. 5-6 jr-2-b guard Colleen Trambaugh is the only returner that tossed in more than a bucket a game last season. Only 13ppg returns total. JV reportedly competitive last season (10-5) (4-1 in conference) which will likely be counted on heavily by incoming coach. Varsity Club member reports middle school teams pretty lackluster at this time. 8th grade went 4-7 last season. 7th was winless. No teaching gigs at this point in the year.
