Hobart boys - Departing Coach Michael Brown
HOBART, Ind. -- (Updated 5/3) Now official that Coach Brown will not be back for a sixth season with the Brickies. Last season Hobart went 8-15, and Varsity Club report states that by-and-large it was pretty much offense by committee. Four seniors graduate, two who went for about 8-9ppg which led the team. Two varsity frosh saw considerable time last year, the best arguably 6-0 Noah Ehrlich (7ppg.) Four other varsity letter winning underclassmen expected back, but all were role players that will have to improve considerably for Hobart to be competitive for new coach. Sr-2-b Keith Mullins at 6-4 is the only height in the program beyond 6-0’s, and he was among those that saw time last year (6ppg, 5rpg.) Report continues no world-beaters coming up through middle school. Hobart is part of the 6-school Northwest Crossroads Conference: Lowell, Munster, KV, Highland, and Andrean.
