Owen Valley boys – Roger Fleetwood (Closed 5/17)
Whitko boys – Roger Fleetwood departs to take over the job at Owen Valley. Fleetwood’s Wildcats went 20-27 in his two years there. Last season Whitko finished 14-10. Whitko loses 5 seniors, but only two were true contributores. Of the returners, 6-1 Jr-2-b River West dropped in 16 PPG and added 5 RPG. Good Varsity Clubber reports he’s going to be very good in the years ahead, but Wildcats already have a stud in Nate Walpole. The 6-0 Sr-2-b was easily one of the best players in the area as he stuffed the box scores last season to the tune of 27 PPG, 6 APG, 4 RPG, and 2 SPG. Not a ton of height for the 2A Wildcats except for 6-6 Spencer Sroufe. He logged very solid varsity minutes as a frosh last season pulling down 6 RPG. MS Science opening as well as MS Sped
