Guerin's Twitter announced that Pete Smith told his team this morning he has resigned.
I know Pete retired from this teaching job at Carmel a few years ago. I saw he was recently named to the Board of Directors at a local bank. He has been working as a consultant for a local engineering company.
A tremendous career and the game is weaker without him.
I suspect this job will be filled internally based on scuttlebutt I've heard over the last few years. Kind of figured Pete might go out now with Jack Hansen having graduated. Program will continue to produce winning teams, but not sure there is a Division 1 talent returning after the recent run with Brennan, Holba and Hansen.
