I was looking through old yearbooks, and I ran across this rundown of Evansville Bosse's 1951 season. It was lackluster by Bosse standards, but I was struck by their first round Sectional opponent. Griffin? I thought I'd heard of every Indiana high school, but this one is new to me. I grew up in that area, and can't recall ever even reading about this one. It has to be a local school being a Sectional contest. I Googled it, and found a tiny community with 170 souls west of Evansville. Has to be it, but I never knew they had a high school of their own.
