Was looking some things in Bill May's, tourney time book. Then I went back to check some early sectionals in Vincennes. Main reason was to see if Westphalia ever had a school. Transparently not large enough to field team, but ran across a high school named Gibualt. First thought it was early version of Central Catholic, but that's before Catholic schools were allowed to compete in IHSAA tourney. I think '35 was last year for it. Wonder if there was a second public school in Vincennes?
Of course they're is a Gibault school south of Terre Haute for troubled teens. Seems I remember an orphanage in one part of Vincennes, maybe school connected with that. I was really little when we drove by it.
