I just wanted to publicly let everyone know that I have put in my resignation as the Varsity Girls Basketball coach at Charlestown High School.
I appreciated the opportunity that was given to me the last three years, in which I probably dedicated 10 months a year to developing players of all age groups. I honestly can look back and say I don't know what more else that I could have done with the time I had.
I appreciated all of the players that played for me and the dedication they gave.
The program top to bottom is in good shape, so the next person that steps in should be good to go right off the bat from a talent and skill standpoint.
I feel like I'm a person of principle and as upsetting as this is to me, I feel it's the right thing to do. Please keep me and my family and the players and their families in your thoughts and prayers in this time of transition.
