Central Noble boys – Coach Ethan Marsh will not be back for CN next season. Last year’s Cougars went 13-12 and return two solid Sr-2-b 5-10’s in Reeve Zolman and Mason Smith. Good Varsity Club member reports neither is a true point and quality height will be a challenge. Still both can score. Good Varsity Club member indicates a couple of Eled jobs and Sped opening.
Southport girls – Coach Matt Seifers leaves to take over the BNL boys job. Last year’s Cards were 11-10 and graduate 4 seniors. Of interest is 6-3 Sr-2-be Jaelencia Williams. Good Varsity Club member reports MS LA and MS Science as well as assorted Eled openings. Southport has proven it is willing to work with lay coaches as well. Some strange situations could result but there are HS openings in district sister school (and arch rival) Perry Meridian.
