My name is Jimmy Beasley SR. I'm girls varsity bb coach at Washington Catholic high school. My son is Captain Jimmy Beasley JR. He is the principal/boys varsity bb at White River Valley junior high school in Lyons, IN.
Last year Jr was deployed Ann's is currently on active duty and is a NATO commander at Powidz Military Air Base in Poland.
Last Saturday I was at the sectional finals in Loogootee and met with IHSAA comish Robert Faulkins. We discussed Jr at length and were trying to find out is he the first Indiana high school varsity boys bb coach 1, to be deployed, 2, to be a NATO commander?
I need your help on this on my HH friends and Indiana high school bb historians.
If you have any info please let me know ASAP. Capitain Beasley is scheduled to return early this summer to resume his duties at the Switz City Indiana high school.
I've written 2 novels on WWII and am looking at this as my possible subject for my 4th novel.
