My friend just messaged me that Bill Walton feels no one should be able to call timeout because they can't in-bound the ball.
I know coaches haven't always been able to do that, but has there been any point in time where a player couldn't call a timeout because they couldn't in-bound the ball.
I'd think that they've always been allowed to, but I don't know 100%.
