Loogootee participated this week.5 games in 3 days 27th-29th. We ended up 3-2 for the tournament for 4th among 10 teams. 3-1 in pool play. Good learning experience for our team to play teams they would never see otherwise. Interesting side notes. 1. Until final day. They never announced starting lineups prior to any of the pool play games.They just did that final day. The National Anthem was never played. No school songs. Illinois fans are very passive vs. we Indiana Hoosiers who are very passionate about our basketball teams. We played the home team at Bismark-Henning last night of pool play 8pm prime time. We had almost as many fans as they did. Game went down to wire. They sat passively. But our fans were very rowdy! A little to rowdy for there liking. I'll just leave it at that. Overall an interesting glimpse of what it is like everywhere except in good ole Indiana!
