Sitting here during my prep period, pondering some things - and I thank you all for the honest HUDL takes last week - and here's one for you: what are reasonable expectations for a high school staff's involvement in youth leagues/programs?
This isn't a "in a perfect world" scenario - there are obviously only so many hours, so many volunteers so many other staff members, etc. During a varsity basketball season (and during the off season as well) - what's reasonable to expect the guys (or women) who are hired to coach the high school teams to be doing?
I'll take your answers off air - though I'm sure I'll check in at some point with the very different perspectives that bring this question to the table.
Good luck to all this weekend, too!
