All Conference and Coach of Year Selection Process

Just curious , do the conferences that many of you are familiar, and/ or affiliated with actually have a selection process for these awards.

Does the voting have to be transparent to other coaches?

The reason I ask is that the Mid-Southern Conference approach is to always give the coach or coaches that win or tie for the conference the award, so no voting for coach of year!!!

When it comes to their all- conference teams they also do not have to reveal who they voted for in what order.

Just curious what your respective conferences do.
