Burton, his boys' All-Star teammates and the 2023 Indiana Girls All-Stars will play three games each -- an exhibition against the Indiana Junior All-Stars on Wednesday, June 7 at Cathedral High School in Indianapolis followed by home-and-home doubleheaders against the Kentucky All-Stars on Friday, June 9 at the Owensboro Sportscenter and Saturday, June 10 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
Burton, who totaled 2,273 points, 533 rebounds and 512 assists in leading Penn to a 74-31 record during a high school career, is headed to the University of Notre Dame. He averaged 30.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists as a senior with a a career-high of 47 points against South Bend Washington as a senior.
Furst will be joined on the boys' All-Stars by fellow Notre Dame recruit Logan Imes of Zionsville. She set numerous school records in her career, including career points (1,668), career blocks (125), rebounds in a game (18), blocks in a season (37 as a sophomore) and career free throws made and attempted (344 of 465).
