It’s that time again! I can smell the sweat in the gym and the popcorn popping!! I have gathered the best bunch of basketball junkies I could find! What more in life do we want more than a bunch of friends sitting around talking hoops on a Saturday afternoon?
We have a great line-up of speakers and I can’t wait to steal from some of the best coaches in the State. After the coaches speak feel free to hang out and stay as long as you want. Bring your playbooks, notebooks and be ready to throw all your secrets out. Just a reminder the bar/restaurant only takes cash (no credit cards). Please feel free to bring your assistants and invite other coaches!! This is a FREE clinic, no registration, just show up!
The following coaches will be our featured speakers:
12:15-1:15 pm Coach Jon Miller Hanover College – Former Hanover standout Jon Miller begins his tenth season as the Panthers' head coach. He is the 21st coach in Hanover's basketball history and only the third on the Panthers' bench since 1965. Hanover is coming off arguably its best season in the history of the program after going 26-4 overall and making it to the NCAA National Tournament Round of Eight for the first time. The Panthers also won the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference regular season and tournament titles in 2016-17 and finished No. 7 in the final D3Hoops.com National Poll. After finishing with only nine wins in his initial season, the program has averaged close to 18 wins per season over the last four years. 2015-16 marked the program's 23rd winning season in the last 24 years. This success has also been the case in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference action. Over the last seven years, his Hanover program has registered the highest win total of any team in the HCAC. His teams have compiled an impressive 85-37 record during this stretch. They are also the only program in the league to qualify for the conference tournament in each of the last eight years and to advance to at least the semi-finals in six of the last seven seasons.

1:20-2:05 pm Mark James**-Head Coach at Ben Davis HS. Entering his 7th season as the Giants head coach with a record of 100-47. Coach has an overall record of 538-277 in 36 years. He led the Giants to the 4A State Championship this past season with a 23-5 record.
Topic- Getting Players Ready for College
2:10-2:55 pm Dave McCollough-Head Coach at Shenandoah HS. Entering his 3rd season as the Raiders head coach with a record of 41-8. Coach has an overall record of 506-241 in 34 years at Shenandoah, Noblesville and North Judson. The Raiders are coming off a 20-5 Sectional Championship season.
Topic- Offensive and Defensive Philosophy
3:00-3:45 Kent Adams*-Head Coach at Twin Lakes HS. Coach is entering his 22nd season at Twin Lakes leading the Indians to a 25-4 record last season and 3A State Runner-Up finish. Coach has an overall record of 357-303 in 30 years. He has led Twin Lakes to 4 straight Sectional Championships.
Topic- Program and Key Factors that allowed the Indians to make a deep tournament run plus Full Court/Half-Court Defenses along with Indian Practice Drills.
