Visiting Indian Creek spoiled an otherwise entertaining Senior Night at Greenwood Tuesday evening, besting the Woodies, 76-70.

Score by Quarters:

Greenwood 05 22 20 23 70
IndnCreek 11 23 19 21 76

Greenwood was able to get contributions from its senior honorees tonight as Spencer Isenthal tallied 11 points & 11 rebounds, four more boards than entire team in their last outing at Mooresville. Fellow seniors Evan James, Isaac Stogsdill, and Ethan Smith also each added timely buckets.

However, aside from the Indian Creek win, the real story was the combined efforts of Greenwood freshman, Braydon Kincaid and Jeffrey Reynolds. The 6-0 Kincaid put up a career high 20 points, including 16 in the second half. Perhaps more impressive were his diminished turnover numbers and only two missed field goals for the contest.

Fellow frosh 6-4 Jeffrey Reynolds added 16, 12 coming in a second half that saw the Woodies rally from 20 down (51-31 mid 3Q) to pull within 1, 71-70 with 1:30 to be played.

Heroics were not to be, however, as Indian Creek knocked down the last five points of the ballgame from the charity stripe to salt it away by the final ,76-70. Indian Creek senior, Dylan Phair led all scorers with 21.

Greenwood falls to 3-19 and travels to New Pal (10-10) to close the curtain on the regular season. Indian Creek improves to 15-5 and finishes up their regular season with a home date Friday night vs. Waldron for a shot at the Mid-Hoosier Conference title.
