New Palestine senior Ryan Curry crossed the 1,000-point mark Saturday in a win over Connersville. He scored 24 points in the game, and now has 1,006 points for his career. He becomes the sixth player in New Palestine history to score 1,000, joining Tom Giles, Dennis Ulrey, Kent Raymond, Michael Morris and TJ Ott. Curry also set the program's single-game scoring record earlier this month with a 46-point effort against Shelbyville.
